Lennox Voice Studio

Winner of "Community Votes Georgetown" Platinum Award!

About The Studio

Lennox Voice Studio students are always well prepared and highly regarded for their vocal technique, repertoire choices and the reputation of Alexandra's teaching. Since the opening of Lennox Voice Studio in 2006, Alexandra's vocal students have all been accepted into the best vocal performance programs the country has to offer, as international students to programs overseas, and were offered full scholarships. These acclaimed vocal institutions include: University of Toronto, McGill University, University of London (England), University of Ottawa, Trinity Faculty of Music, Wilfred Laurier University, Sheridan College Bachelor of Music Theatre Performance, and Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts.

Students attending Lennox Voice Studio (LVS) compete annually in regional festivals around Ontario including Kiwanis Music Festival, Peel Music Festival and Guelph Music Festival, and have been invited to compete in Provincial finals on countless occasions. Accompanied by only the best piano accompanists in the province, LVS students are set up for success and encouraged to support one another at competitions, festivals, recitals and during the Royal Conservatory Examination Season. Alexandra is known not only for building the voices and performances of those she teaches, but she's known for building confidence, community, and inspiring young singers to become the great artists they set out to be. Alexandra is a diction expert in Italian, German, French and English and is available for coaching, ear training, sight singing and IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) lessons.

How The Studio Runs

Lennox Voice Studio is where students learn a solid, classical technique which can be applied to all genres of singing. To help create the most well rounded performers possible, Alexandra teaches techniques and methods such as; support, tone, pitch, breathing, mechanics, performance, musicianship, repertoire choices, and a close attention to diction in languages such as German, Italian, French and English. When taking lessons at LVS, students will learn both classical pieces and music theatre pieces to diversify their repertoire binder and make lessons interesting and more fun for the performer. RCM exams, music festivals, auditions for shows and university are prepared for with a fine attention to detail. There are no tracks and no lyric sheets, Alexandra's students sing with sheet music, start with an in depth warm up and always sing with live accompaniment. Every holiday season and late spring, Alexandra arranges vocal recitals where students have the chance to entertain their family and friends.
